Member of the Rome Bar since 2010, Simone Cicchinelli lends his activities in business law, with a particular focus on corporate, banking and bankruptcy law. He assists public and private entities mainly in M&A transactions, in the construction of appropriate governance structures, in corporate litigation and in commercial contracts. His assistance is also extended to the ‘twilight’ phase of corporate business with particular reference to negotiations with creditors in crisis or insolvency situations.

Graduated with honours in 2007 at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, he improved his studies, in the same University, obtaining a Master’s degree in Financial Market Law (2008) and a PhD in Economic and Business Law (2013) and, also, studying and teaching as RTD/A researcher in Commercial and Banking Law. At the moment, he is also teaching Commercial Law at the University of Teramo for the academic year 2021/2022.

He is the author of numerous essays on corporate, bankruptcy and banking law and he is also on the Editorial Board of the ‘Rivista del Diritto Commerciale’ and the ‘Rivista di diritto fallimentare e delle società commerciali’.
