Marco Petrucci is responsable of Tax department and has many years of vast experience accrue din international taxation and the related tax litigation and audits. He is particularly knowledgeable about transfer pricing and the preparation of country files and master files, permanent establishments and, more generally, the application of conventions for the avoidance of double taxation and EU tax directives. He mainly assists industrial groups, also dealing with the corporate aspects of infra-group transactions, including the legal aspects of liability from “management and coordination” and relations between directors in Italy and parent companies abroad.

Under the scope of these activities, he has also dealt with complex liquidations of branches in Italy and disputes involving corporate shareholdings, in some cases acting as liquidator and administrator of guarantees. He is currently dealing with corporate procedure systems dedicated to the prevention of tax crime and errors, which can be used for the purpose of the Organisational Models pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree no. 231/2001 and to establish a Tax Control Framework on which basis to access the cooperative compliance regimen. 

Lately, he has acquired substantial experience in company incorporations, capital increases, shareholders’ agreements and subsidized financing for young companies.

He has graduated in both, Business Economy and Law. He is enrolled in the Register of Chartered Accountants and Tax Advisors of Milan, admitted to the Milan bar and enrolled in the national register of Legal Financial Auditor.

Marco joint LAWAL as a partner integrating his former firm, which he had established in 2004. In previous years, he had been a founding partner of the Milan branch of a international law firm and equity partner of famous Italian law firm.
